N A M E katr'ee eskai lee-yun (kah-tray eh-sky lee-yuhn) is the name she gave herself since her mother, her father, nor the man that bought her from her father cared enough to name her.

N I C K N A M E S she dubbed herself as kat when she finally named herself, it seemed that a lot of people also called her this as time went on because it was easier. for a while she was also called girl by her "master".

A G E seventeen (she ran away from tai ran when she was thirteen and began traveling the world of ceradonia doing odd jobs and dancing ever since).

S E X U A L I T Y mostly straight with the occasional fey influence.

O C C U P A T I O N she does various odd jobs for some of the people she meets, for clothes and food, when she travels. she mostly dances and hopes people will pay her enough for food or new clothing.

M A G I C ? though she does not know of it her gifts are inherited solely from her father seeing as how her mother had never come into hers. katr'ee only uses her powers on occasion when she feels it will benefit her dancing in a way of "shows" -- only if she believes that people will be in awe and give her more coin for food and clothing. otherwise, her powers are quite useless to her and are not very powerful, though one more powerful than the other.

fire (the ability to wield the element) is, of the two of her powers, the least powerful. she can wield just enough fire to make balls of fire, or streams, in which she uses her other gift to make the flames appear differently. occasionally when she is sad and alone she will create little balls of flames using her index finger and thumb, though many fire weavers could do this trick, she thinks it's something that she had came up with and mastered without anyone else being able too. she's kind of childish when it comes to this, so she will argue on it -- one is best to let her think how she will. this gift she only used to make her dance "shows" more excited and lively as to get more coin for clothing and food as she travels. the only other time she would use this gift is if she were in really tough situation and had to defend herself or someone important (or important to her).

illusion (the ability to make tangible illusions) is the more powerful of the two gifts, though it is rarely used. as for her fire ability, this one only goes to make that one more extravagant. while she wields tiny flames her illusion makes them seem bright and large, sometimes even colorful and shaped, which does sometimes lead her into having more coin for the things she needs. though when these two gifts coincide as they do it leaves her with low energy, thus the use of her powers are very rare. she has once or twice made little dancers during her "shows" to make for interesting dances. she has also made a friend for herself, in which she calls him the disappearing man, so that she could have someone to hold her hand -- and she would not get hurt simply because he was not real, though it does make her sad when he fades due to her lacking the energy to keep him there.

H E I G H T she stands rather short as five foot.

B U I L D she has always been a small girl; tiny in height and weight. she's kind of muscular though dainty, due to her traveling and dancing.

E Y E S they are an oval shaped brown.

H A I R though the color seems to vary with her, it is typically an auburn color.

I D E N T I F I E R S her short brightly colored hair, and her loud choice of clothing. that and her rounded face with her plump lips and bright cheeky smile.

A P P E A R A N C E even though she didn't know she was cursed with the genetics of being a rather short girl. her mother and her father both were shorter than average, therefore she is quite the short little girl. she always dances to keep her mind concentrating on something that makes her happy, thus her weight seems to stay in the same thin ranges that she has maintained much of her whole life. her brightly colored auburn hair is natural compared to her frequently darker colors that she tends to sport as well. she sports the same physical appearance as her mother, and she has some of the same quirky assets like her father. his closely set almond shaped eyes, his slender figure, while her mother had the bright hair and the short height. her plump lips also came from her mother, while her round face and light ivory colored skin came from her father.

L I K E S dancing, smiling, being happy -- even if she's merely pretending, having the company of another, talking -- only when she is quite comfortable with a person, her homeland, the snow, the rain, the warmth, flowers, bright colors, smiling people, happy people, nice people, some of the people in wyeshing, most of the people in the other countries, the deities, the royals, dreams, art and it's many forms, meeting new people, helping others, fire tricks.

D I S L I K E S cruel and mean people, people who do not smile, people who must take the fun out of everything, memories, being sad, hating her life, those who need to control other, not being able to dance, being used, being hurt, crying, not being able to summon a smile, being alone to her thoughts and memories, not being able to keep the smile on her face, when her energy is low because of her powers, not being able to help people, arrogance in men.

F E A R S being found by ta-kau and being forced back into the life that she had made herself leave, not being able to dance again in her life -- it's what keeps her happy, being alone for all her life because she's afraid to get close to people -- she thinks that she will get hurt the same way ta-kau hurt her.

S T R E N G T H S dancing, smiling, making others laugh and smile, helping people in need, not letting herself get her heart broken -- though it can be portrayed as not letting anyone get close, pretending that she is always happy and cheerful.

W E A K N E S S E S people who show kindness, fire tricks, laughter and smiles, beautiful thing, bright colors, things that don't seem to go together tough seem to work beautifully, down time, boredom -- what else is there to do but think.

Q U I R K S when alone and sad she makes small flames using her index finger and thumb, smiling all the time no matter her mood -- sometimes it actually makes her feel happy, zoning out.

G O A L S to find someone that she will love and that will love her, to go back home one day and not be afraid of being forced by ta-kau, to get over her fears all together.

P E R S O N A L I T Y though she has had a most horrible past she seems to hold her head up high with a smile on her face, though that has taken much practice. she always has kindness in her words and in her hearts, a smile on her face, and a joke to crack to make people smile in the most tense situations. she is always a helping hand when people seem to need her help the most. it seems her cheery demeanor and her kindness does not defend from the bad, but she has had much practice keeping her heart in a locked box for no one to touch. she has seen pain and sadness, she has felt pain and sadness and she will not allow her heart to go through that again. she is a nice girl, but she has a heart of steel and a talent in the art form of motion like no other.

note: katr'ee does not know who her relatives are. because she has no living relatives she has no ties to anyone. she tries to forget everything and every one from her past, and she will never go back to tai ran until she knows that ta-kau is dead, and she has not had word of his death yet; therefore she has not been back to her homeland of tai ran as of yet.

P L A C E . O F . B I R T H she was born and raised in tai ran of wyeshing by one of the sketchiest men you could find. when she was old enough she ran away to travel all of wyeshing before she decided to travel all of ceradonia, she has not returned to her homeland of tai ran since the day she ran away.

H I S T O R Y
her father was a pirate, and her mother a lowly woman who worked in a whore house. simple as that, it wasn't anything magical or romantic. when the child was born the mother couldn't take care of a child without losing the fringe benefits of her job, so she decided to leave the child with the last man she remembered being with -- which was the girls actual father. he kept her on ship with him for three or so years, but the girl was too hyperactive, and he couldn't afford keeping her. so he sold her to the highest bitter, who ended up being one of the sketchiest men in wyeshing.

this man never gave the girl a name, simply called her girl, and he did some awful things to her. he took out his anger on her, he took out his sexual urges on her, and he whored her out several times for coin. needless to say he treated her like dirt, but she had no where else to go, and no one else that "loved" her. of course when she was old enough to run, she did just that.

sure she kept up a happy demeanor, she was always bubbly and active. she loved dance, it became one of the things she did to make herself feel good. it was kind of her way of being herself. so since she had no home, no one to be with, she began to travel all of wyeshing and other lands in ceradonia. she did odd jobs for people, the jobs that no one else would be willing to do, for food and clothes. many people liked her because no matter the job or the suffering she always had a smile on her face and she was kind and wouldn't complain. she just stuck it out, she kind of had no other choice.

because of this many people wanted to know her name, but she was never named. so over time she came up with her own name. and so she called herself katr'ee eskai lee-yun, otherwise dubbed kat. but she never stopped doing what she loved the most, dancing. it is the one thing that keeps her grounded, keeps her from remembering the past, keeps her from falling to pieces. dancing keeps her sane. so as she is travelling she occasionally does "shows" on the side of the road, or anywhere where there are people, who may give her enough coin for food or new clothes to change into.

the only way she'll ever go back to her homeland is when that awful man dies. and though he has died she has not heard word of it yet; therefore, she has yet to visit tai ran.
