CITY OF INGRIL

Located in the dead centre of the Kahll Desert, Carthonia's capital proudly rises out of the sand. The earthy-toned walls stand at nearly impossible heights, as Ingril was built on a hill composed of very strong desert rock. The lower classes --the homes of peasant folk, as well as legal and illegal markets, surround the lower levels of the hill. While the palace stands at the very top of the rocks. It is incredibly well guarded; there was talk of a few who managed to infiltrated the palace walls over the years, however, none of these intruders ever made it out alive. The city's populace is composed of people from all walks of life, people of many nationalities. The natives as well as those of lower class are however easily told apart from those who are wealthy merely by the evident marks and wear of the desert on their skin.
