We are the darkness in the Shadows. We are myth. We are legend. We breathed life into the world. Magic courses through our veins. We live it. We bleed it.
We are the others.
We are not like you.
The year is 1882 in London, England. Queen Victoria rules the dark, fog ridden city that was rapidly being transformed by the industrial revolution. Change was in the air. The British Empire was thought to be one of the most powerful in the world. Little did people know but London's true rulers were of a different sort. Black London held the real power.
The Others came from across the world to live in the seat of power. It was a safe place for elves, fey and supernaturals alike to make their way in the world... at least it was until fifteen years ago. Everything changed when a Mafioso group called the Camorra came to town and muscled their way to power. They were cunning, devious and resourceful. Their organization quickly bullied The Black into seeing things their way. Those that could not be motivated were driven out – only the strongest remained to fight.
The Camorra amalgamated all other criminal groups except one. The Honorable Outlaws, as they soon became called, stood against them but they were not the only enemies the Camorra would make.
The Lady's Order would soon learn of the hostile takeover that occurred in London through the small outpost they had there. It was their duty to protect the interests of all Others and ensure that a balance between good and evil forces was maintained. Unfortunately, such a group did not organize quickly and it was only this past winter that forces were sent out to begin a campaign against the Camorra.
Only time would tell if they were to be successful. The city is locked down in the silence before the storm. Now they must wait. Wait for the end. Wait for the resolution of this plight....wait for the war that could very well tear them apart.
