Healing: The stronger of the two magic abilities he has and what
better way to make himself look better if hes able to heal others.
He was known for helping with simple things from scrapes,
bruises, and cuts. Though for some more important people he
has helped with fractures and sprains, though completely broken
bones are a pain he has learned after a very few cases.

Persuasion: Its always an interesting little power to have and
with his personality, maybe a little dangerous. He has used it
quite a bit getting out of things and dangerous situations
because would they really want to hurt him? It may not be as
good as others with the same power, but it works well enough
for him.

A P P E A R A N C E Mathyus stands quiet tall and strong at 6'2" with those years of combat practice. He isn't one to slouch much and he does try to appear at his best because he is quite amazing according to himself. He has to let others know too because first appearances are quite important.

H I S T O R Y
Mathayus Numair was the second child of the Emas family after his older sister, Desire'e. His father quite pleased to have a son to carry on the Emas name after his time was through. His childhood not very exciting growing up with his elder sister and the friends he had made, some his parents making for him. Mathayus was happy enough enjoying his childhood as any boy should, having fun and then studying when he had too. Though growing up in such an environment tends to mess with ones personality.

Though his life changed quite drastically during his fifteenth year, his unwed nineteen year old sister was pregnant. She had a thing for chasing older men, but this one beating the rest as this man was older than even their own father. Mathayus couldn't understand the reason to even want to be with a man that age when she was only fours years ahead of him. Though the young woman claimed she loved him and so despite his parents dislike the two were wed.

The wedding came with quite an addition with the older gentleman having many kids with his first wife leading Mathayus to be come a 'Uncle' even to people older than himself and even his sister. Though soon after the wedding Desire'e lost the child though still she stayed married to the man which worried both their parents. Mathayus seemed to be the only one that still talked normally with his sister though truth be told he didn't like the situation much either but his sister seemed happy were she was.

So, his sister was married into the Je D'caarre family and Mathayus joined the Niendran army at eighteen wanting to do a bit of something for himself. His skill with healing during practices and other things was quickly known to those around him, though Mathayus was usually rather picky about helping people or not. Then a few years down the road Lusha had joined as well, one of the Je D'caare kids he had become 'uncle' too. It was interesting watching and working with the younger male that was part of the family though it didn't last long for when Lusha left to go home, his younger twin passed away.

His sister was a mess over it when he had talked to her, even that woman after living with the young girl for eight years had started to feel something for. A surprise for Mathayus, but still quite a tragedy for such a young girl. Then soon enough, Lusha was back, a bit different but back. Mathayus had written it off as the young male being sick like he claimed and the fact his sister had just passed. Though it was only such a story for so long when Mathayus had to help the boy, finding out that Lusha was truly Saecilia in disguise. He thought the girl was a bit mad trying to pull off because she couldn't hide this forever, but maybe she could get away with it a bit longer with some help. So now hes just trying to get through the military life while protecting this new little "Lusha".
