N I C K N A M E S shay, ess, mr. anubis...all common names for him to go by, but his favorite one is the one that isn't completely associated with him; La mort rapide, which is french for "the quick death". An accurate description for the boy.

O C C U P A T I O N assassin, and quite infamous. otherwise, he's a master at weapon forgery, and works as a blacksmith in a carthonian workshop.
M A G I C ?
--metal. a master at knives, swords, axes, and all other types of close combat weaponry, it seems that shane was born to be an assassin. one thing that is constantly with him is a small, burlap back filled with pieces of scrap metal he has found lying around, just waiting to be molded into shape and used as a weapon. but his constant companion would be his broadsword -- he's even named the thing, caolan, that is constantly shifting and changing to other types of weapons that prove different kinds of lethality, but always returns to it's original form. he has mastered this element, right down to manipulating it at molecular level, stripping the iron from people's blood with the swipe of his hand. ever resourceful, you have to be careful with shane, for you never know when he'll be pumping bullets into your flesh.
--super speed. yet another thing that seems to have developed entirely out of his need to assassinate people is his speed; able to run at incredible speeds that a normal human who possessed no magickal abilties could never dream of accomplishing, he appears as a mere blur of movement while running. no victim has any chance of getting away from the dangerous predator. one of his favorite techniques is to close in on his target and zipping past them and running into them, the speed breaking bones and dazing them, and striking fear into the hearts as he comes in for the kill.
magnetic manipulation; goes hand in hand with his elemental powers over metal, but could also be seen as mere coincidience that he has it. It mainly works in retrieving bullets form people's chest and drawing metal to him that he otherwise wouldn't have been able to reach, but at it's strongest it can be devastating on it's own; literally ripping the iron from someone's blood just to make a small nail. on it's own, he can manipulate magnetic fields, crippling people in violent nausea and vomiting as he strikes down on them in their weakness. he can even use the metal in people's bodies to fling them great distances, and to manipualte it to move thie rmuscles.
