M A G I C ? earth- Elan can summon earth at will and control it. it normally calls for some kind of movement done by him but it is possible for him to do it with out movement as well. it tends to lose control when he is angry. he doesn't mean to but it happens..

animal empathy- Elan can sense an animals intent. if their intent was to attack them he'd feel it but if they were simply walking by and came across them he'd sense that too. he also sense if an animal counts him as one of them. his pet bird counts him as his flock and is often found cleaning his hair as he would one of his flock.

Elan tends to dress in casual attire, not really caring about his rank or what he should wear. Elan lets his hair stay messy and shaggy since he likes it that way, also it annoys some people who want him to look prim and proper. He tends to just wear a loose shirt, pants and boots since he spends most of his time riding horses, hunting, or spending time with his sister.

The youngest, Elan is eager to see his sister happy and healthy with his own personal reasons. his eldest sister, because she is exactly the kind of girl he does NOT like and because she's annoying, his second eldest because he loves her dearly and wants nothing more then to see her happy. Though Elan is to be the heir of his family he isn't eager to be a count. Elan wants to spend most of his time outside, among people and animals that he can play with and have fun.

Elan is a rather cheerful person. It can be quite annoying sometimes. He tends to be very obnoxious at times. He likes to see the glass half full, even though it is more often then not, half empty. It can be rather frustrating when his family is more pessimistic than he is.

Elan idolizes his sister, Quissandra. He wants to be as free spirited and wild as she is and always has been. Like her he spits in the face of those in power and then runs around doing whatever he wants. He has copied her in many ways and tends to follow her around being a bit like her shadow.

H I S T O R Y
While the viscountess was traveling, one night she went into premature labor, three hours later Elan was born. A little under six weeks early and rather scrawny the babe was to be the last child of the Perstai family since he was also the only male and would inherit everything. Unlike most boys who are raised to be powerful and rich Elan was not spoiled or greedy. Elan managed to keep a level head, part of it being one of powers.

Elan developed his power of earth when he was five years old. He made a dog house for a pet of their gardener. When his nurse came out nad found the house she wanted to know where it came from and Elan said "I make it!" Since then Elan has made houses, huts, bridges and so on with his powers. When he was nine he made a fort out of dirt and when it snowed he used it to start fights with the other kids. Elan often used his powers in such ways. When he was seven he managed to convince a bird into flying over and pooping on his sister.

Elan developed his ability to sense animals feelings and intentions when he was seven. He first noticed it when he was playing with friends and he felt the intention harm to him and his friend. Elan had time to turn and raise a dirt wall as a giant animal jumped out at them. Since then Elan has mostly used his powers to send animals to scare or crap on people he didn't like or wanted to humiliate.

Since birth, Elan has been expected to be a powerful and rich man. But Elan has had other ideas. Elan wanted to be a pirate since he was a child. He wanted to be the bad guy. With his wild sister Quissandra, Elan used her as an idol. Elan spent most of his time following Quissandra around like a little lost puppy, where Quissandra went so did Elan. Though they had another sister Elan felt more related to Quissandra then any of his family. Only two years ago Elan's parents sat him down and tried to get him straightened out, make him be more responsible and act more like the viscount he will and should be. Being as he is Elan and has always been rebellious has made his desire to be the villain even more potent.
