Q: Are there different languages in each country? What do they sound like?
A: Yes! Not only does each country have their own language, but some have multiple! While they do sound like languages that exist in our own world, it should be recognized that they are not those languages in this world, and thus should only be referred to by the appropriate names. We've included the real-world equivalent just for those of you who want to imagine what your characters could sound like!
Niendran Iliendran: The official language of the North. Sounds like Icelandic. Niendran: The official language of the East. Sounds like Finnish.
Wyeshing Hi Wan Qo: One of the three languages of Wyeshing, spoken mostly in the port cities. Sounds like Chinese. Kirimai: One of the three languages of Wyeshing, spoken mostly in urban cities. Sounds like Japanese. Dageul: One of the three languages of Wyeshing, spoken in rural areas. Sounds like Korean.
Carthonia Kahndrian: The official language of South Carthonian. Sounds like Arabic. Carthonian: The official language of West Carthonia. Sounds like Bulgarian.
Serenity Isles Serenitian: The unofficial language of the Serenity Isles. Sounds like Sanskrit.
Q: Are there different currencies in each kingdom?
A: This question has been asked a number of times, therefore we decided to add it to this thread. Carthonia, Niendra, and Wyeshing each have their own currency. We put an approximate US/Canada dollar amout on each one, so you can sort of see how much their worth is. If you need to convert the dollar amount to something else, here is a site for that. The currencies go as follows:
Niendra: Caeta - approx. 100 dollars a piece, made of gold Retus - approx. 20 dollars a piece, made of silver Chrebi - approx. 1 dollar a piece, made of copper
Wyeshing: Gaega - approx. 150 dollars a piece, made of gold Dyn - approx. 30 dollars a piece, made of silver Mirol - approx. 3 dollas a pierce, made of copper
Carthonia: Brokoun - approx. 120 dollars a piece, made of gold Klobos - approx. 25 dollars a piece, made of silver Gopif - approx. 2 dollars a piece, made of copper
Q: What is the religion of the land, or are there different ones per country?
A: Good question! The answer is that there is only one religion; however there are technically multiple religions within the one for it's said you get enhanced powers depending on which deity you pray and are loyal towards. As deities are added to the site, we will list below which countries have temples dedicated to them.
It should be said that Carthonia will never recognize the deity Lilith and Niendra will never recognize the deity Nero. However, some people within the countries do worship both (and some worship neither.)
Niendra: Lilith - deity of mind; said to be one of the original two deities; claims say he came from what is now Northern Niendra Lunta - deity of the north; third tier Useli - deity of the east; third tier Naiya - deity of earth; fourth tier
Wyeshing: N/A - wyeshing has one temple for ALL deities
Carthonia: Nero- deity of body; said to be one of the original two deities; claims say he came from what is now Southern Carthonia Zamiel - deity of the south; third tier Naiya - deity of earth; fourth tier; only worshipped in some cities
