M A G I C ? Power Absorption: Her only power comes in the form of Power Absorption, a magic she inherited from neither of her parents. While she's shown no talent for any power save some weak telekinesis (which no one realizes she's been absorbing), her family dismisses her as weak and talentless. The drawbacks of not being trained in this magic means that she suffers from chronic physical weakness and is often looked down upon as sickly.

Should she try to absorb the full potential of level 3, it could send her into shock and cause the energy to lash out in a chaotic bundle, as she hasn't even been trained in the basics of magic. And should to occassion occur where she tries to absorb a level 4 power, the results may even be catastrophic in nature for her or others.

Hopefully she will discover her power soon, though, and get some help in controlling it.

B U I L D Ashura has a frail, sickly appearance to her body. It seems like one good twist or a well angled hit would break her bones. This is not to say this isn’t true, which is why she is often protected by guards her parents have assigned to her. The man that taught her telekinesis explained that her power of mind drains her body, and that without proper technique, she will remain in delicate.

E Y E S She has often been said to have a “doe eyed” appearance with large, brown eyes and naturally thick eyelashes. Due to her Wyeshing heritage, her eyes are almond shaped and slightly slanted.

H A I R It’s obvious from her thick, wavy curls that Ashura inherited her hair from her mother. However frequent heat treatments can straighten her hair for a long period of time. For the most part, how she wears her hair in public isn't up to her, but to her parents.

I D E N T I F I E R S None to really speak of. She has no piercings or tattoos. However, she has a small scar on the small of her back from backing into a candle and being burnt when she was twelve.

A P P E A R A N C E Always regal, always noble, yet always with an air of feminity: Ashura carries herself daintily. She could run across the hallway and no one would hear a sound. It's obviously she's from Wyeshing with her traditional style of dress. She loves the fabric of silk and more often than not is seen in pastel dress robes. She wears sandals rather than the typical shoes because she often isn't allowed to leave her house anyways. She doesn't wear jewels, however, because she believes it is dangerous... that and she doesn't have many to wear.

L I K E S Ashura likes the idea of freedom because she's never had it. It intrigues her and has successfully brainwashed her into thinking she must obtain it. She also has a weakness for cute animals, and it's likely she'd have a farm for them if she was allowed. Although some girls complain about it, she actually likes wearing dresses and getting made up for events (though she doesn't like the actual events because of the people there).

D I S L I K E S Mean people. That is, anyone who is mean to someone else without good reason or someone who tortures for the sake of torturing. She also hates being seen as so sickly. She would love to get out and do the things her brother and sister can, but for the most part she is trapped within the walls of her home, something she hates. Oh, and don't forget the fact she hates undercooked meat.

F E A R S Ashura fears never being noticed. She doesn't want to live her life in the shadows- that said, being the romantic she is, she fears never falling in love, rather.... finding someone she is worthy of.

S T R E N G T H S Although she may appear weak and vulnerable, Ashura has quite the resolution about her. Because she is unhappy with her current situation in life, she is trying to fix it. So she is never content with just "being". She is also quite the singer despite having no power in music. Oh, and she has quite a bit of luck on her side, believe it or not. She is very graceful and quite flexible which doesn't make up for her physical weakness, but it makes her not totally useless in that respect.

W E A K N E S S E S She is the type of person who likes to be liked. This means that sometimes she tries to change herself or keep her opinions to herself to be liked. However, the more she grows independent, the more this will change. She is also sickly, so she fails in all areas physically- there would be no way she could defend herself in a fight. Finally, she is very oblivious to certain things, and she tends to believe she's annoying people when she's just acting normally.

Q U I R K S Ashura is a goody-goody. She truly wants to do good, however sometimes her intentions may be misguided. Quite honestly, she does what she does for attention, even if she doesn't realize it. Being the least important member of her family, she really wants someone to notice her for something.

G O A L S To find her true self.

P E R S O N A L I T Y Ashura is a sweet, kind-hearted individual with a heart of gold. She wants to help everyone she can, and she more often than not sees the good rather than the bad in people despite her upbringing. Even if her motivations are sometimes selfish, she would still be kind to people even if she wasn't seeking attention.

She just doesn't have a meanness about her. Yes, she wants to be noticed, but to her, others come first and foremost. She would sacrifice her own happiness for the sake of someone else's. Truly a selfless individual, Ashura is one of the types of people you love or hate. She can be extremely sweet but also rather annoying if you don't share her values.

Ashura is not close with her family, yet she still has contact with her half brother because she believes he was wrongly kept out of the family. She wishes he'd be instated in what she believes to be his rightful place, and she has a connection with him due to the fact she also sees herself as an outcast.

H I S T O R Y Ashura is the youngest sister of 4 siblings (counting her half-brother). You would think that by being the baby of the family AND a girl, she would be very spoiled. However, because of her status in the family, she is often overlooked.

You see, her family values strength and does not condone babying or coddling anyone. The only time she saw any typ eof affection was through any of her care-takers that took extra time with her and tried to show her compassion. When a power-reader was brought in, it was determined she did not have one (at the time, she was a level 0, class e because her powers had not manifested and thus could not be read).

She was often pushed to the side in favor of her older siblings, something she grew used to over the years. While she doesn't complain about it, it still hurts her. She's always been in the background, and she's used to it. But that doesn't mean she wants to spend the rest of her life as a pretty, perfect porcelain doll.

Therefore, she's taken matters into her own hands. With her sixteenth birthday fast approaching, will she be able to make her wish come true? Or will she find she's horribly mistaken.
