Telepathy level two: the ability to hear one's thoughts and communicate mentally. At first Amber had no control over her ability; she would hear others thoughts without being able to block them out or isolate one from another. Now that she has been practicing and putting focus into her cause, she can block out most thoughts without hearing them automatically. Reading the minds of multiple people at once is still completely impossible for her, but she can at least focus on the mind of an individual that she chooses.
Penetrating sight level two, the ability to see through solid objects. This power is self-explanatory and develops in stages of 'objects' which can be seen through at any given time. The number will increase as her skill increases and is currently limited to rocks (stones, granite, marble, etc.) and wood. Any steel or various other metals will still be solid in her sight.
ADMIN CLASSIFICATIONS
Telepathy -- Level 2 -- Class B
Penetrating Sight -- Level 2 -- Class C
H E I G H T 5'5" though she likes to wear heels due to insecurities and usually appears around 5'7"
W E I G H T 112 lbs which is completely normal and average for her height but she could afford to gain more. The constant preoccupations of her mind have been stressing her out and she's been losing time to thought, often forgetting to eat.
B U I L D Petite - yet shapely - and physically fit. She eats healthy and takes care of her body, ingesting few toxins besides the luxury of wine. While not really one for exercising she does a lot of running around and occasionally forgets to eat. She has long, strong limbs despite her short stature and the faintest hint of curves.
E Y E S Blue; as blue as the sky on a cloudless day; as deep as the ocean. One could look into Amber's eyes and find themselves lost in an endless space, swimming forever further towards eternity.
H A I R Brown and pin-straight, just surpassing her shoulders. She tries to style it with as much volume as possible, but can only manage to achieve a few waves. She usually wears it down and loose, feeling secure in the way it shades her face. Very rarely will she wear it up.
I D E N T I F I E R S Two ear piercings, one set; she's very conventional. After 'hearing' the personal stories of why people do certain things to their bodies, she's decided not to do anything more.
A P P E A R A N C E There's some sort of electricity in the air as you approach Amber, as if you can't help but feel curious about her. Her smile and eyes are magnetic; they pull you in and make you feel secure. She stands at an undaunting height that is average for a woman of her age and has long, lithe limbs that off-set her shorter stature. Her body is completely feminine in appearance with only a slight bit of curves and she looks much younger than she is. Most people would guess her to be in her teens thus doubting her intellect, but she uses this fault to her advantage. She holds herself at full height, with shoulders back, and her eyes set on the road ahead. Confidence seems to emanate from her and while her movement may not be graceful it certainly has purpose. She always has a smile on her face and a kind twinkle in her eye that beckons others to her. Her presence is warm and welcoming. To avoid the curiosity one feels upon first meeting Amber would surely be as difficult as avoiding quicksand.
L I K E S the fine arts, drinking wine, watching and listening to rain-fall, laughter, cold weather, catching others in their lies, stealing attention from her brothers, keeping secrets, using her abilities, eavesdropping, smelling fresh strawberries, hiding in the shadows of sunflowers, tasting sweet raspberries
D I S L I K E S being ignored, losing focus, witnessing violence and aggression, liars, finding out she's wrong, arrogant know-it-all's, manipulation, loud voices or noises, enclosed spaces, surprises, her sister-in-law-to-be, severely hot weather, roses, competition
F E A R S for the safety of her brothers, the progression of her powers, the rebellious nature of her heart, spiders, enclosed spaces, and her unforeseeable future
S T R E N G T H S witty, clever, ambitious, loyal, inventive (original / creative), non-temperamental, loving, kind, compassionate
W E A K N E S S E S stubborn, unemotional (unable to empathize), sarcastic, rebellious, aloof (detached), spiteful, mischievous, careless
Q U I R K S is considered ambidextrous, can't fall asleep behind closed doors, chews on her lip when she's nervous, has a certain order for everything she does, always sleeps with two pillows beneath her head; no more, no less, likes to collect [steal] small items, always finds a use for her pockets
G O A L S to obtain peace for her family and the immediate world they live within, to harness her powers in their full potential, to outshine her brothers and finally become noticed
P E R S O N A L I T Y Amber can be unpredictable, broadminded, exciting, independent and often a little ‘different’ or even eccentric. She tends to have very unusual and radical ideas and approaches to life, coming across as highly mysterious. Often her unique views make her entirely fascinating to be around. Other times, however, she may come across as distant and detached. If this is the case, it's not because she's indifferent to others, but because she's usually more concerned with humanity as a whole, rather than any one individual. Amber isn't interested in winning approval or compliments (unless it's over her brothers) and may act in ways that are bold, non-conforming, and sometimes shocking. Since she's not concerned as to what other people think of her, she often doesn't bother forming opinions about other people's behavior; a 'live and let live' attitude. Along these lines she's very unlikely to be into gossip, or to ever be petty. Amber is a rebel at heart, she does things just to shock people. Intellectual, radical, and exciting she views others as slightly predictable and stuffy, appreciating those who are slightly unique themselves.
Amber is known to be very independent; any attempt to hold her down or restrict her will cause her to flee. She needs to be free to be on their own. Beneath this detached, unemotional exterior, however, lies a kind-hearted friend that will go out of her way to help another. She loves to make people laugh and cheer people up and it makes her feel good when others feel good. She does not expect anything in return - for this could put a damper on her freedom - and she likes to live life with no strings attached. She is very unconventional and always full of excitement, never failing to make life fun. Sometimes she acts like a rebel just for the sake of having her own way, but this type of stubbornness becomes her undoing. Amber will continue to do something her way even when others have proved it is wrong, simply because it is her way; she is very fixed in opinion, although intelligent, and may be stubborn when confronted. Despite this pig-headedness, Amber will never impose her ideas on others and has the utmost respect for everybody's differences.

H I S T O R Y There weren't two people more inclined for one another or meant to be together than Kellan and Sienne Chasehner. It was love at first sight when they met. The phenomenon was unexplainable to anyone but them and they immediately fell into courtship. Time was beautiful and passionate for the Chasehner's - they loved each other unconditionally - and only after a very short amount of time they were married. Neighbor's talked, of course, they doubted the young love which they concluded would fail; but all were proved wrong. The years lasted and so did the Chasehner's. They were kind people who rarely fought and truly felt as happy as they appeared. To many a jealous eye the Chasehner's were blessed.
Just as they rushed into marriage the Chasehner's didn't wait long to start a family. There firstborn was a strong and sturdy son, their second child - a daughter - was as beautiful as the sun-rise, and their youngest was a wide-eyed, bright and hansdome son. The children grew up knowing nothing but harmony - their lives were filled with it. They could see the love in their parents eyes for each other as well as their children. While discipline was strict and many rules were implemented, the children couldn't deny how wonderful they had it. They were flourshing beneath a guiding hand that wanted nothing more than to see them thrive. In every aspect the children were taught respect and etiquette; they were taught how to defend themselves; and their powers were never shunned or neglected. The Chasehner's loved their children as surely as the fish love the sea.
Amber spent most of her time with her mother when she was growing up. She learned how to cook the most exquisite meals, knit the warmest hats, and patronize her brothers in ways that would make them listen. Amber had a gift, her mother always said, a gift that was more special than the rest. She could truly 'see' people; she could hear their thoughts. Nothing would be hidden from Amber for the rest of her life and that - her mother assured - was what made her so special. While her brothers and father went out hunting, Amber and her mother stayed home working on technique's that would help with Amber's control. Her progress was inhuman. Within just under a year she could already block-out unwanted thoughts and focus on a single individual. This was what was most important, according to Amber's mother: focusing on one individual and learning all their secrets; discovering whether they are good or bad.
Time went on quietly for quite sometime and the family continued to flourish. Amber loved to hate her adorable brothers. They bickered with her and teased her but they turned to her for advice all the same. She knew things, after all, and was intuitive by nature. While her special 'gift' was often overlooked by her two handsome brothers, she never placed blame on them or her parents. Instead, she pushed herself further in her concentrations and hoped to one day 'wow' them all - her mother was a conspirator in this plan. Amber wished to prove herself to her father and even her brothers that she was just as strong-willed and lion-hearted as them. One day, perhaps, they would even bring her on a hunt.
But some things were just never meant to be. Disaster struck the Chasehner's when they least expected it. Amber remembers the day clearly as her brothers had come back from a hunt completely out of their wits; they returned without her father. 'What's happened, what's happened?' she remembers her mother moaning. Her younger brother was crying, the oldest was mute. No one could say anything for some time but the truth they all knew. Kellan has fallen and was never coming home. The news was crushing; it knocked the wind out of her lungs and brought her to her knees where she joined her mother on the ground. Sienne was wracked with sobs, her face was flushed with misery and Amber could do little do console her. That night was the longest they had ever endured.
As the days progressed Sienne's health declined and the happiness of their family was crumbling. Her eldest brother rarely came home anymore; he stayed out late, drinking his sorrows away. Aaren stopped coming to his sister for advice and began to keep to himself, leaving also of his own accord at any time he felt fit. Amber alone was left responsible to take care of her heartbroken mother, which was hard in the face of her father's memory that clung to every inch of the house. In the end, it was Amber who watched her die as Sienne drifted off into eternity. It was Amber who bathed her mother's head in damp cloth when the woman showed signs of fever. It was Amber who knew the truth about dying from a broken heart.
After Sienne's death, Amber had no desire to stay. Her responsibility was fulfilled and she wished to be free like her brothers, seeing the world for herself. She knew it was dangerous - even moreso because she was a woman - but she didn't care. Amber was ambitious and rebellious and she would do whatever she set her mind to, regardless if her brothers agreed or not. The Chasehner's were busy, anyways, developing a plan for rebeliion for which they hadn't given her anything important to do. So, one night when they were sleeping she left without word or note save for a single withered rose and set off into the world beyond. She knew they would probably go looking for her but until they did she would see as much as she could and learn everything there was to learn. Amber resolved to use her gift in memory of her parents and in the name of the rebellion. When the day comes that her brothers finally find her she will not be without knowledge. In fact, she may be much more helpful than they had ever anticipated...

Catalina didn't need to look at the clock ticking on the wall behind her to know what time it was. The night was alive! Passion was brimming through the door like wild-fire and igniting Ambrosia's interior with the radiance of decadent sin. Outside, the moon was full. Stars were glittering in secrets of illusion and lighting the streets with suspicion. Be careful at this hour, her parents used to tell her. The Devil comes out when the sun fades away. And yet look at her now. She was standing with her arms folded beneath her breast, hands tucked away in the sheer fabric of a black shawl, watching as the vampires slinked before her like deadly predators. They watched her as steadily as she watched them, their devilish eyes sweeping over her form and craving the flesh that lingered beneath her long, black dress, which hugged her curves as tightly as the shadows hugged her footsteps. They licked their lips as they saw her bare shoulders, her sheer shawl, but they never approached her. They knew better than that. She was the Madame; Ambrosia's mother. Disrespect in her eyes was a one-way ticket to purgatory. After all, without Ambrosia vampires would have to go back to stalking their prey the old way. At Ambrosia's it was thrown at them.
Catalina watched them mingle. She watched the seductions, the young hearts craving trouble deeper than they could fathom. It was unbelievable. She wondered if humanity had lost all the sense they had left. Regardless of whether she owned a vampire bar or not, her morals didn't condone the actions that occured within it. Blood bags, is what she called them. Mindless individuals who threw themselves at vampires for a little rush of pain. Couldn't they understand what they were getting into? She shifted her shoulders and turned towards the hallway. The night had just begun and already she required a break. Voices echoed in her ears, laughter, music, the soft pucker of kisses. They followed her down the hall as she moved towards her office. Ambrosia would be fine without it's mother's watchful eye for a little while. Security was in place, passion was on the prowl, and Catalina had far too many thoughts on her mind to stand idly by this young in the night. She should review some paper-work, instead, lest her 'superiors' come down hard on her again.
She pushed open the door as it groaned in response and whinnied to a close behind her. Two steps in, she stopped. Her eyes swept the room; papers were piled in disorganized stacks, bags of unopened clothes lined the floor with scattered books and loose sheets of paper. Chairs were left askew, the closet door was forced open due to the mess of objects within it. Everything looked like it was thrown where it was, rather than placed. It was exactly as Catalina had left it. Which is not to say she was a disorganized person; no, she knew where everything was. She could find exactly what she needed in a matter of moments despite the sorry mess it was 'lost' in. She just didn't have the time, nor the patience, to organize her things more sensibly. Catalina was forgetful at best, absent-minded at least, and far too pre-occupied to worry about the careful placement of her work-space.
When her eyes were done lingering on the expansive disaster of her office, Catalina moved towards her desk. She walked to the front of it, shuffling through some papers that were stacked at the top of the various piles strewn about. Coming upon the report she was looking for she removed it and set it aside before starting on a new pile. After about five minutes Catalina had a new stack made and, lifting it, took a seat in one of the more comfortable towards the center of the room to begin reading. No one would bother her here, she thought. No one had enough audacity to seek her alone.
