Klaus has the ability to warp reality, to use his mind to induce visions and illusions on people he targets. This power is can be both offensive and defensive. Unlike physical injury his powers affect the brain and instead of attacking the victim's body, he can manipulate and cause disruptions in their senses.

This is often used to create false images or to cause pain from trauma (because the body is led to believe it is in pain); however, there are plenty of other uses depending on the situation. While the illusion is taking place those under the influence either freeze in place or lose consciousness, depending on how capable they are in recognizing and defending against it.

Klaus can go into people's minds and twist them in really whichever way he wishes, even to the point where he can completely alter or wipe out peoples memories.

He has complete control over his ability, and is also highly skilled with weaponry and in the martial arts. Those skills have nothing to do with his powers though.

A P P E A R A N C E Klaus is somewhat tall, dresses well, but not in a way that really makes him stand out. He gives off a confident and charming air, and his posture is both relaxed, but proper simultaneously. While in Wyeshing, Klaus dyes his hair completely black to avoid any chance of his Niendra-blood being too obvious.

He gives off a confident, charming air and is very easy to start a conversation with. However, the man is rather guarded and all of his words are carefully thought out before being said in order to not give away to much. Having spent most of his life living as someone else, hiding his true identity has trained him to be very careful.

He treats all people with respect, and is very genial in most situations. He can be the center of attention or just another face in the crowd depending on what the situation calls for.

The man has had alot of time to grow and mature and has gone through periods of his life where he was volatile and unstable. He has worked through his problems to become a stable and well rounded individual despite his life and his occupation.

H I S T O R Y Lothair Von Weissman met and was temporarily smitten with a Wyeshing courtesan named Soon Na on a business trip to the capital city of the country. They were intimate and spent a few days together, but Lothair returned to Tresyndel and forgot about his encounter until six months later when he was contacted by Soon Na in a letter, stating that she was pregnant. He was recently married, a leader and a important business man, so scandal such as this could only bring bad news. However he felt responsible and sent a letter in response and a promise that he would send her money every three months. He never got a reply back until he received a letter written by a close friend of Soon Na stating she had died in child birth, but his son was still alive. Feeling guilty he decided to take the boy in.

However since it could not be known he was his son (although once the boy was brought to the estate it was a matter of extreme scrutiny) he was raised under the household staff, living much like a servant.

Lothair treated the boy well, made sure he was educated and well trained, but it was impossible for him to really be anything more to him given the circumstances.

Klaus grew up well, if not a bit detached. Despite not being able to let people know of his attachment to the household, he became close with his younger brother who did not know they were related until much later in his life.

He was more or less sold into the government working for them as a spy and diplomat. Given his appearance he could pass as a citizen of Wyeshing. Even if he was initially not fond of working underground he found that he was well suited and enjoyed the job. Klaus quickly climbed to high notoriety within the circle of intelligence, taking on the name Takeda and spending most of the year in Wyeshing.
