taking after his father, the eldest prince seems to have it all. he's good looking, charming, and a damn good fighter. he plans on becoming king after his father, and with his crowning he also plans to bring some changes to niendran law. he has developed an attraction for one of the nobles who is a part of the court, and he isn't quite sure what to do about it yet.

the princess of niendra is cute, sweet, and a bit too innocent to be believable. she knows exactly how to manipulate people to get what she wants, even if it's not a concious effort. she's good at pouting to get her way and it prone to temper tantrums when she doesn't. while good at heart, she's incredibly childish and holds hopeless romantic ideals about love.

quite possibly the smartest of the royal siblings, the youngest brother is very much a scholar. he is a lover, not a fighter, and prefers to let his older brother deal with those matters. he would love to go to the mage academy, and has been trying to convince his parents to let him attend. however, they've always said no, so perhaps he's going to have to do it- with or without his parents' permission.

always the apple of his father's eye, the general of the niendra army was once the first in line to rule. however, when he met a poor woman and fell in love with her, he was banished from court. he lived years in poverty while his father ruled, but he was happy. after his father died, he was reinstated in court, but it was too late for his wife, who died giving birth to their daughter.

she is the eldest, and the most beatiful. or so his her opinion. the eldest perstai daughter holds herself in high regard, and with the use of her gift has managed to convince around half of the household to feel the same. she most often gets her way, and dislikes it quite a bit when her younger sister manages to snatch everyone's attention with something reckless or un-lady-like that she did. she hopes to soon marry into a high standing family.

quissandra has been a wild child ever since she learned to walk. she soon took an interest in riding horses, playing with swords, and acrobatics. of course none of these activities are very lady-like. the viscountess perstai has struggled with her middle child, trying to mold her into something similar to her sister with no success. if anything, quissandra has only become more rebelious. her love interest is cynessa r'leyon

the perstai youngest child, only son, and heir to the household, he is appearing to become more and more like his sister quissandra. he adores her and looks up to her. they will often be seen riding together, or practicing swordfighting in the courtyard. he does not know what will become of him once their parents send quiss away whether it be to school, a convent, or marrying her off to some brave soul.
