Afraid of the Dark is an original RPG. This thread is to help you get an idea of what AOTD is about. It is set in the current summer, (so right now 2011), in the state of Montana in a beautiful forest at Boardwalk Place; a summer camp for rich kids.
The story revolves around the camp being haunted by ghosts from older years. Every year, somehow, three campers die. Every year they do, but the camp is never shut down due to the fact that every time someone disappears, it is claimed as an accident because the bodies are never found. Yet every year rich families dump their kids here and let them stay all summer. At first it is all smiles; just eating, chillin, swimming, fishing, a little romance.....but it usually starts after the first few weeks, and someone will die.
This is an RPG where the plot is optional for some. Every month I or another staff member will use a random generator to pick three characters (created by the members) and the ones chosen will be killed off in a thread. The ones that don't get chosen will just relax, and do whatever they want at the camp and just enjoy everything that Boardwalk Place has to offer. RP parties, relationships, sneaking off, whatever you can think of!

[B]Appearance:[/B] I want at least 2 paragraphs for appearance. What do they look like? Any noticeable attributes? Weight? Skin tone? Eye color? You tell me.
[B]Personality:[/B] What do they act like? Mean? Sweet? Two paragraphs minimum.
[B]History:[/B] Where did they grow up? Are their families wealthy? How were they raised? Three paragraphs minimum.
